About Glimpse of Goddesses

We are delighted to bring Glimpse of Goddesses to Trafalgar Square again this year. This beautiful experience aligns perfectly with this year’s theme: Educate, Illuminate, and Celebrate.

In this interactive display of live Hindu Goddesses (tableau), our aim is to offer the public an opportunity to witness and understand the divinity embodied by Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswati. Visitors will also receive guidance on how to invoke divine powers and virtues within themselves.

The Glimpse of Goddesses zone allows visitors to encounter these two live goddesses - Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswati - radiating purity and spiritual strength.

As visitors enter the zone, they are invited to reflect on their own inner qualities and explore the 8 spiritual powers, such as the power to discern, the power to face challenges, and the power to accommodate. They are also guided on the awareness they should hold when approaching the goddesses, who will be seated in meditation (dhyān), deeply connected with the Supreme Soul, the Source of all powers and virtues.

Before leaving the zone, visitors are encouraged to celebrate their new insights and experiences by spinning the Goddess Wheel, also known as the Shakti Wheel. Whichever goddess they land on, they receive a card with more information about that goddess's qualities, virtues, and how to embody them in daily life.

Activities

Educate: The Wisdom – to understand the 8 powers within and how to give them life and use them.

Illuminate: The Glimpse - to experience the divinity, purity, vibrations and the spiritual strength through the power of meditation of the two live goddesses.

Celebrate: The Shakti Wheel – to celebrate new insights, spin the wheel to land on one of the goddesses/shaktis and receive the gift of a shakti card with explanation on their virtues and powers.
