Diwali Culture Zone – Where Stories Come Alive

The Diwali Culture Zone is a vibrant space celebrating the richness and diversity of Diwali & Indian culture as part of Diwali on Trafalgar Square (DOTS). Visitors can experience traditional and contemporary music, dance, art, crafts, storytelling and cultural performances, bringing together different communities and generations. The marquee offers an immersive opportunity to discover the many traditions associated with Diwali while showcasing the creativity and cultural heritage of Indian communities in London.

To create an inclusive and vibrant cultural space where Londoners and visitors can experience, understand and celebrate the richness of Indian heritage and Diwali traditions through art, dance, music, storytelling, game and meaningful community participation.

The vision reflects education, cultural awareness, participation, inclusivity and celebration. This aligns with the wider Diwali in London aim of increasing awareness of Diwali and encouraging broad participation, as well as the Culture Zone’s role in showcasing traditional dance and Indian games.
