Chair Organisation 2025 – Chinmaya Mission

About Chinmaya Mission Zone

Step into the Chinmaya Mission UK zone and experience Diwali through the theme of Educate, Illuminate, and Celebrate. This vibrant space brings alive the festival’s cultural, spiritual, and educational essence, sharing how Diwali symbolises the triumph of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance.

Chinmaya Mission is a global spiritual organisation founded by Swami Chinmayananda, dedicated to sharing the timeless wisdom of Vedanta and helping individuals live with clarity, purpose and joy. In the UK, the Mission nurtures people of all ages through children’s Bala Vihar classes, youth groups, GCSE Hinduism and Sanskrit classes and adult Vedanta study groups. Each of these wings will be showcased in the marquee, offering unique perspectives on how we can revel in the spirit of Diwali.

Children can enjoy fun activities and quizzes, while youth and adults can explore how Vedanta fits into modern life through inspiring stories, publications and reflections from Swami Chinmayananda. Guided by welcoming volunteers, visitors are free to move through interactive displays, creative activities and simple explanations of Sanskrit verses that encourage reflection and conversation.

This Diwali, let the Chinmaya Mission UK Zone invite you to learn, reflect and celebrate together, illuminating minds, hearts and communities.
