11:00 AM Saree wearing demonstration in the square
12 - 2 PM The celebrations begin with traditional Indian garba dancing in the square for general public with Live Music by Shama and Friends
2 - 3.30 Children's Parade and Sikh martial arts display in the square
3.30 PM Official opening by the Mayor Of London
4:00 PM Music and dance from different states of India including
fisherwoman's dance, Kathak dance, dances from Gujarat and Punjab
5:00 PM Symbols of India: includes a peacock dance, a lotus dance, a snake dance and patriotic dances
6:00 PM Pandit Dinesh - well renowned percussionist
6.15 PM Welcoming Lord Rama - colourful dances welcoming Lord Rama with high energy, culminating in thousands of mini-lamps being lit on the Square
7:00 PM Grand Finale with Shama and Friends a medley of Songs
8:00 PM Event will finish with a prayer
